More than 239,000 food kits «Foundation of Goodness & Love» distributed in Mykolaiv since July of last year

In July 2022, the representative office of the «Foundation of Goodness & Love» launched a major humanitarian operation in Mykolaiv. With the support of partners Polska Akcija Humanitarna and the World Food Program, it was possible to organize three gum aid distribution points. Mykolaiv residents receive boxes of food every week. First of all, the kits were distributed to pensioners, immigrants and low-income families.

Over time, the action expanded its scope, the Fund began to bring gum help to other settlements of the region. Regular distributions took place in Koblevska, Vilno-Zaporizhka and Igulska communities.

In total, during the year of the Great Humanitarian Operation, the Foundation distributed more than 239,000 food kits, which is more than 3,000 tons of food, as well as 95 tons of drinking water.

In addition to the civilian population, the military also received help. The Foundation handed over 20 tons of food and water to positions in the Mykolaiv Oblast.

The Good and Love Foundation has been operating in Mykolaiv since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. The foundation was one of the first to bring drinking water to the city and started building wells when, due to shelling, the city had no water supply. He also handed over a multifunctional hospital to the region, which saved more than 1,000 wounded soldiers and civilians.
