The Foundation of Good and Love together with the International Rescue Committee held events to provide social and psychological support for children in Belgorod-Dniester

The team of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi branch of the International Charitable Foundation for Good and Love, together with representatives of the International Rescue Committee, conducted activities to provide social and psychological support to children at the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Special School of the Odesa Regional Council.

In today’s environment, caring for children is not only humanitarian aid, but also support for their emotional state. That is why such meetings are important for children who live under stress and psychological strain every day.

During the sessions, specialists and volunteers helped children to better understand their emotions, learn to cope with their experiences and feel supported by others. The meetings were held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, where each child could feel attention, care and a safe space for communication.

All participants received positive emotions, useful information and sweet gifts.

Another meeting was held with volunteers from the International Rescue Committee, during which the last batch of backpacks for children from internally displaced families was handed over. In total, more than 100 children received the aid. The backpacks contained stationery, hygiene products and toys.

The partners also donated children’s furniture and books to equip a children’s corner, which will become a comfortable place for children’s development, education and leisure.
