The Good and Love Foundation joined a meeting with veterans and psychologists to strengthen support for military families
The team of the Belgorod-Dniester branch of the International Charitable Foundation for Good and Love took part in a joint meeting with soldiers-veterans of the Ackerman Veterans NGO and psychologists of the International Association of Psychologists and Trainers of Ukraine.
Such meetings have become regular and important. During them, the participants discuss the real challenges faced by military families. With each meeting, it becomes more and more obvious that psychological support is no less important than material assistance.
To provide more professional assistance, the Foundation’s volunteers took a four-day online course in psychological training and received the relevant certificates. This allows them to better understand the condition of people who have experienced losses, both physical and mental, and to be a real support for them.
War veterans are a part of our society that requires special attention, respect and understanding. These are people who have survived, but often continue to live with deep inner pain.
Being there for them is not an easy task that requires sensitivity, patience, and inner strength. But this is where true unity lies – in the willingness to support, listen and help.
The Foundation for Good and Love will continue to join forces, learn and hold joint events to be a support for those who need it most.
We are stronger together.
