A story of hope: a little ward of the Good and Love Foundation undergoes treatment in Lviv and has a chance for recovery
We would like to share a special story of one of our little wards – a girl from the city of Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, whom last year we sent for treatment to Lviv, to St. Nicholas Hospital.
We recently visited her and her mother in the hospital. Today this brave child is preparing for the eighth course of chemotherapy. According to her mother, the girl has a chance for recovery, and the most important thing is that the treatment is being carried out without surgery.
We remember the first call from our mother – her appeal for help, despair and anxiety. At such moments, it is important not only to support her with a word, but also to find the right solution and be there for her.
The girl’s mother, Victoria Borysenko, agreed to share this story to support other mothers who are also going through this difficult journey.
From the Good and Love Foundation, we sent the child food and goodies to give him at least a little warmth and joy.
We are here for you. And we will always be there with kindness, care and faith in life.
