The Goodness and Love Foundation has completed the distribution of food packages to more than 800 residents of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi community

The International Charitable Foundation of Goodness and Love has completed another humanitarian distribution of food packages received from its international partner, Samaritan’s Purse. More than 800 beneficiaries received aid, including families of internally displaced persons and others facing difficult life circumstances.

Sometimes a single food box means much more than just a collection of groceries. For many families, it’s an opportunity to ease their financial burden—at least for a while—to feel supported, and to know that they aren’t facing their difficulties alone.

To make the process of receiving aid as convenient as possible, the team at the Fund’s Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi branch organized the distribution in small groups. This approach helped avoid long lines, allowed staff to give each family individual attention, and ensured a calm and organized distribution of humanitarian aid.

The words of gratitude from internally displaced persons were especially meaningful to the Foundation’s team. Over the years, volunteers have heard hundreds of stories about losing one’s home, being forced to relocate, and having to start life over. Many families no longer receive government support; they pay their rent on their own and face new challenges every day. That is why food packages provide them with significant assistance.

The Foundation paid special attention to people who were unable to come to the distribution site on their own. Food packages were delivered directly to elderly people and people with disabilities who have limited mobility, so that no one under the Foundation’s care would be left without the necessary support.

The Goodness and Love Foundation extends its sincere gratitude to the international humanitarian organization Samaritan’s Purse for the food aid it provided, as well as to the International Logistics Cluster for transporting the humanitarian cargo to Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi free of charge.

The Foundation continues to work to ensure that aid reaches those who need it most in a timely manner, because true philanthropy is not only about support, but also about attention, humanity, and care for everyone.
